I don't know how long these will last, they are not the best quality and feel a bit cheap. The privacy lock is not really a lock if someone can easily open the lock from the outside. I thought the slot on the outer handle might need something inserted in it to turn the lock open, but all you need is your nail or your finger pushed against it to open the door. I purchased these originally because they had a triple option that others did not. The package did not include the round strike plate for the door jamb which is ridiculous.Easy to install. A penny can unlock it alsoGreat but the area for the latch is a little wierdOkDoor locking mechanism striker plate was separate and all my doors had to be notched.This door knob did not fit in the existing hole from the previous door knob. Had to redrill hole so not an ideal quick change. Did not fit perfectly.Works as intended.No key. I didn’t realize that when I ordered itFirst off this door knob is not brushed nickel. It is the cheapest looking metal with a light brushing applied. So it is not really that smooth to the touch (the brushed texture can be felt). It feels like raw, unpolished industrial material.The knob is wobbly, and will likely get more wobbly over time.I was tricked by how they packaged it. The screws that hold the knobs in place were already in the slots screwed all the way in. They have very small heads, smaller than the other knobs I have. So, I didn't even notice them there. I tried to look frantically for the screws, finding some from another knob and then discovering that, when the screws didn't go in, the original screws were there all along. Could have saved 20 minutes of my time if they were just put in a bag like normal.Terrible purchase I made with these knobs. Every single faceplate had to be re-burrowed on the door to fit, which strips to only 2mm of door on either side, effectively weakening the door. Also turning a 10 minute task into a 30 minute task.No clue why they’d want to make something non-standard like that. I could have kept the old faceplates, but it would make no sense to leave black or gold faceplates ton contrast a nickel finished.Chose to remove the ones I installed and return the whole package. Never again with this brand. Stick to flat faceplates not 3D faceplates.One of the knobs didn't line up right, had to install with screws on the outside, rather than hidden in the closet, for it to turn smoothlyTried contacting seller, only way was to leave my phone number for them to call me, but every time I do, it says my number isn't correct, so no way to reach them except on here. Hope they appreciate their customers enough to read this!Besides that, looked good, easy install even for a new DIY'er :)Works well, seems built to last and works with doors that don't have a metal plate on the latch side (just a round hole).Recieved my door handle and it did not come with screws to install it....how ridiculous I recieved a door handle to install in a box and have to go out and buy the screws. Very dossapointed and completely useless to me.
