Subaru C1010FG400 6-Speed Manual Transmission Shift Knob - Premium Replacement for WRX, STI, Impreza - Perfect for Racing & Daily Driving

Buyer Beware, they sent model C1010FG410 instead the one shown here, which is the same product except has the carbon 6 speed insert, not the black one shown here, which I ordered because my car has no carbon and I don't really personally care for the look of carbon fiber. Even the packing slip in my box says I ordered the C1010FG410 which on Amazon clearly states I didn't but whatever, I like the 6 speed Subaru STI Aluminum knob better. Don't get me wrong, it's good quality but this knob is lighter than the stock STI knob. The aluminum one is heavier which I personally like the feel of better. I don't remember which seller I bought from but dont be surprised if you dont get the right insert.Is it a lot of money for some special plastic? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. If you want to keep your Subaru “Subaru”, this is a nice touch. It is much lighter than the stock metal/leather knob that was standard in my 2019 STi, however, I like it a lot more than the stock. It may be hard to tell in the photos but the shift pattern decal has a carbon fiber background. Overall it’s a quick upgrade and glad I got it.installed this on my 2005 forester xt, the final touch for my sti conversion!Replacing COBB shift knob.High quality piece. Perfect size, shape and weight.
